WE ARE CREATED & GIFTED FOR PURPOSE

God has a specific purpose, or calling, for each one of us. 

The apostle Paul was able to say of himself that he was "called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God" (1 Cor. 1:1). As we mature in our relationship with Jesus, we too can come to a place where we say we are "called to be a teacher - pastor - missionary - evangelist," or simply "bond-servant of Jesus Christ" (Rom. 1:1; Jude 1:1), serving Jesus faithfully with joy in the opportunities He gives us.

Many members - One body. Many individuals make up the Body of Christ. Just like the human body functions together as a unit, there are parts that serve unique purposes, as we are all individually designed to play our part in the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives "gifts" to each one of us individually, so we may contribute uniquely to the overall health of the church. "Thus, also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, 'You have faith, and I have works.'  Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith BY my works." (James 2:17-18)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL YOUTH VOLUNTEERS
(12-17 YEARS)

1. Must be at least 12 years of age

2. Must be in agreement with the pastors and staff of Tooele Springs, and be attending for a minimum of 6 months

3. Must be able to make a minimum 3 month commitment and give a 30 day notice before resigning your post

4. Must be neat in your appearance If you wear body piercings, you will not wear them while serving

5. Be at your designated post 20 minutes before service begins

6. Must maintain a good reputation among your teachers, and other adult authority

7. Must attend all mandatory worker meetings

8. Be faithful to attend at least one regular service or youth service for each service you serve

9. Must be "Born again"
